Enjoy an evening of enchanting melodies at the Fort Point Arts Community Space in The Envoy Hotel! Singer-songwriter Shira Laucharoen and cellist Olivia Katz will play original ballads — inspired by musical theater — popular covers, and classical works. The event welcomes in the holiday season by conjuring the memories that keep us warm during the wintertime. Light refreshments will be served. Shira Laucharoen is an artist of Thai and Italian descent, originally from New York City. Her evocative and poetic work aims to tell stories and often deals with romantic love, contradictions in authority, and letting go of the past. Olivia Katz is part of Semiosis Quartet, a Boston-based string quartet dedicated to presenting a captivating and diverse contemporary classical repertoire. Grab dinner at The Barking Crab across the street, and settle in for a memorable night, supporting a budding musical duo!
