From shimmering dresses to explosive wedding outbursts, TLC's buzz worthy series MY BIG FAT AMERICAN GYPSY WEDDING comes back with a bang! With coming of age parties, arranged marriages, purification ceremonies and a Veil of Darkness wedding ritual, the Gypsies have their own set of customs and superstitions, vital to the survival of their mysterious culture. This season Gypsy dress designer Sondra Celli creates the most unique dresses to date, including a dress made entirely out of flowers, a dress made out of candy and a Cherokee-themed dress. The series' fifth season premieres Sunday, July 17 at 10/9c.

ABC News' “Nightline” won the 2016 2nd Quarter in Total Viewers (1.566 million), based on Most Current Data from Nielsen Media Research. “Nightline” led CBS' “The Late Late Show with Jeff Corden” (1.233 million) by 333,000 and NBC's “Late Night with Seth Meyers” (1.455 million) by 121,000. 

VH1 today announced its new series 'Shaunie's Home Court,' which will premiere Sunday, July 17th at 10:30 PM ET/ PT. 'Basketball Wives' star Shaunie O'Neal takes the cameras behind-the-scenes at home, where she spends the days tending to her brood of five, ranging in age from 10 to 19 years old. The half hour comedic unscripted program follows O'Neal as she works to keep her lively family in line.

MTV, a unit of Viacom (VIAB, VIA), today announced it will take San Diego Comic-Con by storm with the return of fan favorite and hit drama series 'Teen Wolf' for the seventh time and the highly-anticipated 'MTV Fandom Fest' and 'MTV Fandom Awards.' MTV will be on-the-ground with its own branded booth, giving fans an all-new interactive VR experience on the floor of the San Diego Convention Center.

 “Queen Sugar,” the new original one-hour weekly drama series from award-winning filmmaker Ava DuVernay and executive producer Oprah Winfrey, debuts as a two-night event on Tuesday, September 6 and Wednesday, September 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. The series will regularly air Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. ET/PT for the remainder of its 13-episode first season. Led by acclaimed film director DuVernay, who directed the first two episodes, all episodes in the series' debut season are directed by women.

 Netflix, the world's leading Internet TV network, has ordered a 10-episode first season of the one-hour sci-fi drama, from Legendary TV, based on the beloved 1960's sci-fi classic from Irwin Allen. Reimagined by feature writing team Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless (Dracula Untold, Last Witch Hunter), with Zack Estrin (Prison Break) showrunning, the series will premiere worldwide on Netflix in 2018.

Syfy has renewed its critically acclaimed drama series 12 MONKEYS for a 10-episode Season 3 order, with new episodes expected to air in 2017. From Universal Cable Productions, 12 MONKEYS is co-created by Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett (“Nikita”) and is based on the 1995 Oscar® nominated and Golden Globe-winning  film of the same name. Matalas serves as the showrunner and executive producer. Charles Roven (The Dark Knight trilogy, “Suicide Squad”) who produced the original film, and Richard Suckle (“Suicide Squad”, “American Hustle”) also serve as executive producers. Season 2 of the series currently airs on Monday nights at 9/8 c on Syfy.

Breaking Glass has acquired U.S. and Canadian distribution rights to THE SUFFERING, an independent horror film by Robert Hamilton. THE SUFFERING stars Nick Apostolides (The House Across the Street), Regen Wilson (Killing Lincoln), Phil Amico (The Patient), and Chad Eric Smith (Squid Man). The indie horror will be released in Los Angeles on July 29 and On Demand/DVD August 2, 2016.

The Wednesday and Thursday premieres of BIG BROTHER both delivered their night's top live + 3-day lifts in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen L+3 ratings for June 22 and June 23.

AMC will air a special marathon of the buzzed about series “Preacher” on Thursday, June 30th beginning at 9:00 PM ET/PT.  Fans of the series who can't get enough and viewers who need to catch up on the action can watch the first five episodes of “Preacher” and enjoy bonus, behind-the-scenes footage within each episode. The new, sixth episode of the season appears on AMC this Sunday in the show's regular timeslot at 9:00 p.m.

Cheyenne Jackson will officially be returning for more 'HORROR.'

During last night's second gala of the Final Phase on TELEMUNDO's “La Voz Kids,” hosts Jorge Bernal and Patricia Manterola announced the 12 voices that are competing during the upcoming Semifinal, airing this coming Sunday, July 3rd at 8pm/7c. The evening filled the soundstage at Universal Orlando Resort with music and rhythm as Coach Pedro Fernandez sang “Duele Ver,” and Jonael Santiago, winner of the third season, debuted his first single “Sonrie a la Vida” and joined season four contestants for a performance of Carlos Santana's worldwide hit, “Oye Como Va.”

Today, CNBC announced LeBron James' and Maverick Carter's selection of local judges and globally recognized C-suite host for the network's highly anticipated unscripted primetime series, “Cleveland Hustles,” premiering ?Wednesday, August 24 at 10pm ET?/PT. The series teams four successful Cleveland business leaders with local entrepreneurs looking for an investment to launch their own brick-and-mortar stores.  The series is set in the Gordon Square Arts District, a once troubled neighborhood that's working to rebuild.

 In an expansion of its partnership with The Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), Seeso, the premium comedy streaming channel, today announced that it has renewed its popular Original Series “The UCB Show,” from hosts, creators, and Upright Citizen's Brigade founders Amy Poehler, Matt Walsh, Ian Roberts and Matt Besser, and will begin shooting season two today at The 18th Annual Del Close Improv Comedy Marathon in NYC.
