This entry is a bit more personal, but it explores my experience and perception of my identity concerning the things I do and how that changes as I grow up.

Your local overachiever and workaholic in the making shares and ponders the way she handles burnout while burning out during the experience that is finals week. But the reward is oh so worth it .

Sometimes the motivation for getting work done can be found in finding a good place to get work done. In my case, and that of many theatre students in New York City, that place is the Drama Bookshop.

In this post, I go through the five things that help me to stay focused and motivated. As the weather gets colder and the desire to do nothing increases, it gets harder and harder to get work done, but we must do what we need to push through!

As a double BFA reject (both Acting and Musical Theatre) student who now studies directing in a Theatre Arts B.A. program, I wanted to share the things I enjoy about the B.A. route that I wouldn't be able to get had I been in a BFA program. This is in NO way to throw any shade at BFA programs, but sometimes your journey changes along the way and the things you don't want to happen can turn into great opportunities.

The October chill has entered the air and school has officially begun, there's no turning back! Come along with me as I introduce myself and share what I've been up to this past month and half since school started again...
