Julie Taymor could be in the midst of plotting her big Broadway comeback.

Actor and comedian Carl Reiner just revealed that he might have a broadway show in the works! He wrote today on Twitter:

UPDATE: Bette Midler has announced on Twitter that she will indeed be making her return to Broadway next year in Jerry Herman & Michael Stewart's Tony-winning musical HELLO DOLLY!

Now according to the Wrap, Harvey Weinstein has plans to bring the production to Broadway following its run in Paris, which is set to conclude on January 17.

Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Stephen Karam's The Humans featuring Cassie Beck ,Reed Birney, Jayne Houdyshell, Lauren Klein, Arian Moayed and Sarah Steele, just opened earlier this week, and according to the Hollywood Reporter, the show might have a life after off Broadway. David Rooney writes that producer Scott Rudin will transfer the production (full cast included) to Broadway in 2016.

Just last night PBS aired a new episode of its 66TH AND BROADWAY series, this time featuring the work of composer Frank Wildhorn, and on the show, he revealed scoops on the status of two of his projects.

According to an email sent to a ticket buyer and alerted to BroadwayWorld.com, plans are underway for the BBC to film the London production during the first week of October for potential broadcast and release. When the Public Theatre announced HAMILTON's third extension earlier this month, rumors fizzled that the show would in fact transfer to Broadway in time for the 2015 Tony Awards eligibility cut off. Once in a Lifetime, the first of eight collaborations from Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman, might be heading back to the stage, according to the New York Post. MIchael Riedel writes that he 'hears rumblings of a possible revival.' The duo is currently represented on Broadway with their 1936 play, You Can't Take It With You.

Emmy Award-winning actor Neil Patrick Harris, who will soon return to Broadway in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, is known to the theatre community as Tonys Host Extraordinaire, having hosted the ceremony a whopping four times. Harris was just honored at the Drama League's Winter Gala, and according to the New York Post, he revealed there that because of his Broadway commitments, he won't return to his hosting gig in 2014. He commented: 'Because of 'Hedwig,' I can't emcee the Tonys. But I can now be home with our two kids. Family for me is very important.'

UPDATE: A production spokesperson has confirmed to BroadwayWorld that former Pussycat Doll Nicole Sherzinger will not be joining Broadway's PIPPIN, as the New York Daily News reported earlier today.

Two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster starred in the Encores! Off-Center presentation of VIOLET back in July, and BroadwayWorld has just learned the the star will lead the show on Broadway in the Spring of 2014. Foster, who was previously set to play Sarasota's Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, had to cancel her March engagement because of a scheduling conflict with the upcoming production.
