NETWORK will begin performances on Saturday, November 10, 2018 and officially open on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Broadway's Belasco Theatre (111 West 44th Street). NETWORK is directed by Tony and Olivier Award winner Ivo van Hove (The Damned), adapted by Tony and Olivier Award winner Lee Hall (Billy Elliot) and based on the Academy Award-winning film by Paddy Chayefsky.

MCC Theater's return of the critically acclaimed, sold out, extended, award-winning play School Girls; or, the African Mean Girls Play, written by 2017-18 Tow Playwright-in-Residence Jocelyn Bioh, and directed by Tony Winner Rebecca Taichman opened last night, October 22nd. The encore production will be performed at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street) from October 16th through November 25th.

Atlantic Theater Company stages the world premiere production of Fireflies, written by Donja R. Love and directed by Saheem Ali. Fireflies is the second part of Donja R. Love's trilogy, which began with the acclaimed play Sugar in Our Wounds, also directed by Saheem Ali. Fireflies just opened last night, October 15th for a limited engagement through Sunday, November 11th, 2018 Off-Broadway at the Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street).

Sakina's Restaurant, the Obie Award-winning play written and performed by actor, writer, and former correspondent for 'The Daily Show' Aasif Mandvi (Disgraced), just opened yesterday, October 14 at the Minetta Lane Theatre. Performances of the recently-extended five-week-only engagement began on October 5th. The 10th anniversary tour of ROCK OF AGES is getting ready to hit the road! Leading the cast are Anthony Nuccio as 'Drew Boley,' Katie LaMark as 'Sherrie Christian,' John-Michael Breen as 'Lonny,' Sam Harvey as 'Stacee Jaxx,' Ryan M. Hunt as 'Dennis,' Chris Renalds as 'Franz,' Kristina Walz as 'Regina,' Kenya Hamilton as 'Justice,' and Andrew Tebo as 'Hertz.' The tour will also feature Michael Bojtos, Emily Croft, Kyle Jurassic, Mark LaDuke, Carlina Parker, Darrell Wayne Purcell, Stephen Rochet, Zoe Unkovich, and Brenna Wahl.

The Public Theater just opened the North American premiere of Girl from the North Country. Written and directed by Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Conor McPherson with music and lyrics by music icon Bob Dylan, Girl from the North Country weaves the music of our greatest poet-singer-songwriter into a piercing drama about home, heart, and the searching determination of the American soul. This new musical has been extended three times and will now run through Sunday, December 23.

Reproductive rights advocacy organization A is For once again brought together stars of stage and screen with Broadway Acts for Women: A Star-Studded Night of Karaoke and Comedy on September 30, 2018. The night feature performances from Broadway stars, actors, and comedians who support access to reproductive health care. Broadway Acts for Women is the only benefit that brings the Broadway community out in force for abortion rights and reproductive health care.
