Rhythm & Grooves at ARCOS

Ciceley Fullylove's Rhythm & Grooves explores the connections between social dance styles and contact improvisation, inviting audiences to discover their authentic movements alongside dance partners Venese Alcantar, Irving Maldonado, and Adrian Flores, with live music by Collin "Oolaf" Finnigan. This performance is part of a double bill with Kelly Goetz's Menstruator, a solo piece that blends clown-inspired burlesque and narrative dance to address the cultural taboos surrounding menstruation through the lens of mindfulness and personal storytelling. Both artists are supported by ARCOS, a program designed to empower emerging dance creators in bringing their artistic visions to the stage.
