Join us for a pair of spine-tingling tales from the delightfully morbid mind of Edgar Allan Poe. In “The Telltale Heart,” a murderer is undone by his own insanity as the incessant pounding of his victim’s heart grows louder in his ears. This story is paired with “The Cask of Amontillado,” in which a connoisseur of fine wines takes horrible revenge on his family’s most hated enemy. Poe’s dark genius has invited children and adults to love literature for over 150 years, and his eerie thrillers still haunt our imaginations today.
