Nationally acclaimed pianist Michelle Cann has garnered a reputation as one of classical music’s foremost interpreters. Lauded as “technically fearless with… an enormous, rich sound” (La Scena Musicale), Michelle Cann won a 2023 Grammy Award and was the recipient of the 2022 Sphinx Medal of Excellence. Now the Eleanor Sokoloff Chair in Piano Studies at The Curtis Institute, Cann performs with major orchestras around the world, including the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. “Michelle Cann is exquisite in both the Liszt-like technical sparkle and probing humanity of Price’s writing.” – The Philadelphia Inquirer
