Louis St. Louis' new musical The Joker's Game will have its official world premiere in Beijing tonight, May 15 at the Oriental Songlei Theatre.

The musical has been adapted to Mandarin from the original English.

Last July, Louis St. Louis, the Detroit musical entrepreneur and Broadway innovator moved to China to work on the world premiere of The Joker's Game, a multi-million-dollar musical for China's Bai Lao Hui. He composed the score and will continue to serve as the Musical Supervisor, Arranger and Musical Director of the premier.

The Joker's Game opened in its pre-Beijing tryout at the Tangxia Center For The Performing Arts in October 2011 and at the Dongguan Yulan Theatre in December 2011. It was awarded two of China's highest Cultural Awards - Best Production and Best Loved Production.

Directed by Tony Stimac, The Joker's Game is presented by the Oriental Songlei Musical Company and produced by Li Dun.
