China National Theatre for Children will present KING LEAR, a tragedy written by William Shakespeare, on April 29.
The theatre has announced the cast, which includes seven all-male cast members. The story involves a relationship between a father and his three daughters.
The theatre wants to explore recreating a ‘thought-provoking’ tragedy for a younger audience.
Zhang Yan will direct.
